How South West Florida Coalition Can be more effective

The South West Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice has been in existence for quite a few years. The Coalition is made up for Peace organizations located in Sarasota, Venice, Englewood, Charlotte County. We sponsor a media event each fall and celebrate a January world peace day. For those of you who are reading this post please give us your input on how the Coalition might become more effective in what it does. There are lots of good things going on in South West Florida regarding Peace and Justice issues. What are your suggestions for our Coalition to consider. Thanks for responding.

balancing the budget

Shut down our wars. Shut down the Pentagon. Shut down Los Alamos. Shut down the Trident submarine bases, the SAC bases, death row, the School of the Americans, all our military bases, and all our weapons manufacturing plants. If we stopped these wars, bring home our troops, and cut our military budget, we would have plenty of money not only to balance the budget, but to improve our schools, fund new jobs, offer free healthcare, build homes, and feed the world's poor.
